Introducing Coach J!

Dutch Women’s Basketball Family,

I am truly honored to introduce myself as “Coach J,” the new head women’s basketball coach at Central College!  My name is Justin Weiland, and I want to personally thank each of you for your continued love and support for the Central women’s basketball program. My family and I have felt so welcomed by all at Central and look forward to being here for a long time!

The continued success of Dutch athletics, along with its rich history, was one of the main factors that attracted me to Central. I am eager to connect with our alumni, their families and all who have contributed to this program over the years. The loyalty and support for Central is unmatched. We appreciate everything you have done and continue to do!

My vision for the program is an immensely competitive environment and an accountable and supportive culture with champion mindsets and aspirations. My ultimate goal is to bring Central women’s basketball back to the top half of the conference and sustain it year after year.

Off the floor, we will continue striving for lasting success in academics, internships, graduation and job placement. The ultimate success for our program will combine these two elements, along with incredible experiences and lifelong relationships.

As we continue to provide the best four years for our student-athletes at Central, your furthering support of our program helps provide the ultimate experience above and beyond the norm. Please consider kick-starting this exciting season by making a gift to the Central women’s basketball program!
