UPDATE: We met our $30,000 goal and, with so much time left before midnight, we're rolling out another $10,000 challenge! The new total to reach is $40,000 and with $40,000 in matching funds, that's $80,000 for the Journey Scholarship Fund. Let's raise another $10,000 for student scholarships and impact students for a lifetime!

Today's the day! Giving Tuesday is here. All gifts to the Journey Scholarship on Giving Tuesday will be matched up to $30,000!
We have a day for giving thanks. We have two days for shopping deals. Now we have #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving. Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. It is a day for individuals, communities and organizations around the world to unite for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving to nonprofits.
Central would not be the great institution it is today without support from alumni and friends. Our goal is to raise $30,000 in one day for student scholarships. If we do, that amount will be matched thanks to generous donors. That would bring our total for the day to $60,000!
The Journey Scholarship paves the way for students to experience Central. With over 99% of students receiving financial aid, many students would not be at Central if not for the generosity of donors. Take a moment today to show past, current, and future students why Central is special!
Last year, we received over $200,000 from gifts under $250! EVERY gift makes a lasting impact on Central students!
