We’re ALL IN to reach our next goal but need your help!

We’re so close – at the goal line! – to fully funding the next phase of renovations and upgrades to the P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium. Reaching our goal will take a team effort, one big surge ahead. With your help, our renovations can begin this spring further transforming a facility used by nearly every Central student.

The sweeping $3M refresh of the building’s lower level will include:

• State-of-the-art women’s varsity locker room with team room
• Major upgrades to athletic training room spaces
• Equipment room renovations

The building is incomplete without the critical work necessary to give the original 50-year-old structure an urgently needed transformation into a championship 21st-century facility worthy of our hard-working student-athletes.

RENOVATED LOCKER ROOMS

The new varsity locker room in the gymnasium expansion is spectacular. But it’s only a partial answer. Central’s men’s and women’s teams can access it only half of the year. A total renovation and reconfiguration of the old women’s space will create a matching, dynamic new varsity locker room, tailored to the needs of Central’s female student-athletes.

RENOVATED ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM

A renovated athletic training room will feature a redesigned floor plan providing for more space and efficiency. The modernized facility will also enhance its educational value.

AN IMPORTANT MILEMARKER IN OUR JOURNEY FORWARD

When funding for this phase of renovations is complete, we’ll set our eyes on one final goal, an additional $3M in renovations to the upper level recruiting suites, conference and film rooms, football coaches’ suite, new coaches’ offices and the Sikkink-Dykstra Welcome Center. But this next phase can’t start until the current one ends.
