2:45pm UPDATE: Thanks to your generosity, we have again reached our goal! Now, Steve Sikkink ’83 has offered a $10,000 challenge. We are trying to reach $20,000 total before midnight tonight! We give thanks on Thanksgiving, get those great deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and now we give on Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. It is a day for individuals, communities and organizations around the world to unite for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving. Central College would not be the great institution it is today without the gifts from alumni and friends. Every gift throughout the last 160 years has made Central a destination for students who want a high-quality education, the ability to connect with professors, and to be an active member of campus life. Today, we can show all that Central offers by giving a gift to the Journey Scholarship Fund. The Journey Scholarship paves the way for students to experience Central. With over 99% of students receiving financial aid, many students would not be at Central if not for the generosity of donors.
